DESCRIPTION:What to expect\nLeap Into Sheep gives first-time youth exhibitors a supported opportunity to raise and show a lamb with help from the youth livestock program. \nSchedule and location\nApplications are due December 1\, 2026. The program is limited to listed participating counties and to beginners who have not previously shown animals through this program. The official notice lists participating counties; Highlands readers should check county eligibility carefully. \nRegistration and planning\nThe $50 registration fee covers the lamb\, one bag of feed\, a blanket\, feed trough and halter.
