The Northeast Tennessee Beef Expo will be held October 15 at the Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greeneville. The annual program brings cattle producers together with Extension specialists, researchers, veterinarians, industry representatives and other agricultural professionals.
Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., with educational programming scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The first day includes a trade show and presentations from industry experts, breed association representatives, veterinarians and university specialists.
Registration Deadline and Cost
Early registration is $25 through October 9. The fee increases to $50 from October 10 through October 15. Lunch is included. Pre-registration is required.
Regional Beef Education
The expo is organized by Northeast Tennessee Extension agents and focuses on current research and production practices that can help cattle operations improve management and profitability. Producers can register through UT Extension or contact the Greene County Extension Office at 423-798-1710 for information.
