TAEP Application Deadline Arrives October 7
TAEP application deadline is October 7 for Tennessee producers seeking 2026-27 Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program cost-share funding. The application period runs October 1-7 and is entirely online. The state says the application closes at 11:59 p.m. Central on October 7.
The program can help eligible producers offset part of the cost of approved farm improvements. Current program areas include genetics, herd health, livestock equipment and fencing, hay equipment and storage, dairy solutions, row crop solutions, poultry, swine, farming solutions, and producer diversification.
Producer Diversification Covers Several Farm Sectors
This program helps agricultural producers who work in areas such as agritourism, fruits and vegetables, honey bees, horticulture, organics, and value-added products. Applicants must meet the basic TAEP eligibility requirements and the requirements specific to the program they select.
Tennessee says reimbursement maximums vary by program. Approved applicants must meet applicable certification or special requirements by the time they request reimbursement.
Applications Are Online Only
Paper applications are not available. Producers need an email address used only by that applicant, internet access, and a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Tennessee recommends using a computer when possible. After submission, applicants should receive a confirmation email and are encouraged to save it as proof of applying.
